Sports Engineering
As an avid sports fan, I have always had an interest in the design of the equipment and technology that make playing sports an incredible experience. From the apparel on the athletes to the inside of a ball, technology exists everywhere and it always fascinates me how many complex design and technical considerations go into even the simplest of products. It is astounding that the smallest of changes to a product can increase its performance by such a large margin, and that is why I am so passionate about sports engineering. Product Design and Devlopment
Although my main fascination lies within sports, I also love, and have appreciation for, many other types of product design. I particularly like simplistic design that can hide a vast array of functions, as I find this to be elegant and sophisticated, yet technologically intriguing. Graphic design is another area that I am interested in. I am always blown away by the advertising campaigns of the big sports brands as they always find new and exciting ways to promote their products, keeping us interested at all times.
